Our Daisy Birthing ™ programme is supported by our own unique Birthing Music (written by professional composer & DJ and Lazy Daisy mum, tracking the emotions of her own labour) and by our carefully compiled birthing manual.
Our basic programme provides an all inclusive weekly class incorporating active birthing tuition, breathing education, yoga inspired movement to support pregnancy and aid labour and meditation/relaxation techniques. This can be added to with Active Birthing workshops for you and your partner, one-to-one birthing preparation sessions and 'anxiety release' hypnosis inspired exercises. You will also find a range of massage, reflexology and hopi inspired treatments and therapies to aid back care, release tension and fluid in the cervical tissues and to reinforce your chosen birthing affirmations. We are here to enable you to enjoy active birthing, gently, comfortably and uncontrived - just the way nature intended. Postnatally we assist with mother/baby classes, treatments, meets and greets and delightful holistic products and clothing (even the most chilled out yummy mummy still needs to shop!)
Government will now pay you £190 to cover the cost of your Daisy Birthing™ Programme (and still have change for nappies): If your baby's due date is on or after 6th April 2009, and you're 25 weeks pregnant or more, you're entitled to a £190 grant (in other words, free money you don't have to pay back) to help prepare for the birth of your baby.
